Conversion
Overview
Now that you have some hosted content with links to your money page, you need to know how many visitors you are getting (the traffic), how many of them are clicking your links and how many of those are going on to actually buy something. That's the conversion process!
Training
You may need to login to the Thirty Day Challenge site to see the training or have it automatically download into iTunes.

Actions
Remember to watch the training videos and/or listen to the training podcasts first before diving in with these actions!
- Use Stat Counter or Google Analytics to add tracking code to your content sites so you know how many visitors you are getting each day.
NOTE: If you're using WordPress.com as your host then use its built-in visitor statistics.
- Use the TDC Stats Tracker to create trackable links from your hosted content to your affiliate product page.
- Continue to add new articles targeted on your keyword phrases on new content sites. Preferably, one per day.
- If you are not getting Google ranking or the traffic is not what you would expect for your ranked position then consider moving on and starting again with a new topic.
Remember: "be glad, not sad" - you've just saved a lot of potentially wasted time and money developing for that niche.
- If you are getting the expected traffic then start to put in more effort by creating back-links to your content pages through the use of:
- Comments on other Web 2.0 sites (blogs, forums, etc.) - See notes below
- Articles and Press Releases
- Submissions to directories
- Yahoo! Answers
- Yahoo! Groups and Google Groups
- Use Google Alerts to stay on top of your niche and to detect when your posts are indexed by Google. You can then use social bookmarking to enhance the effect of your back-links.
- Analyse the top listings in Google (your competitors) to see what back-links are pointing to them and try to get links back to you on the same sites wherever possible. Try to keep to niche-relevant sites only though! See notes below also.

- keyword forum
- site:squidoo.com "sign my guestbook" keyword
- site:hubpages.com "submit a comment" keyword
- + similar structure for other sites
- Use the following manual method to search for back-links in both Yahoo! and Google:
link:page_or_site_url
Example:
link:www.thirtydaychallenge.com
- Use the "Tools | SEO For Firefox | Options..." menu command in Firefox to set the "PR" and "Y! Page Links" settings to "Automatic" so that they appear without having to click them.
